Five Year Strategy

Danadams' short-term objective is to obtain WHO Prequalification Status to be able to access the lucrative market for government and donor-funded tenders in West Africa. (A Global Fund Disbursement Report indicates that in 2008 more than US$830 Million was spent on ARVs and anti-malarials in the ECOWAS sub-region alone.)

Company growth is centered around three key stages: Obtaining WHO Pre-Qualification; Expanding Production (Range and Capacity); and Research and Development. Other key initiatives include streamlining operations, cutting down on costs, stabilizing the supply pipeline and establishing mutually beneficial business relationships. Danadams is also recruiting and training a world class workforce to help achieve its mission of building a strong company, and creating a healthy Africa.

Phase 1 – Obtaining WHO Status

• Completing New WHO Pre-Qualification Standard Production Facility

• Erecting new Extended Warehouse that meets WHO standards for raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods

Phase 2 – Expanding Production

• Automation and new equipment to increase production capacity

• Remodeling of old production facility to increase product range

Phase 3 – R&D Innovation

• Developing new drug formulations and drug delivery mechanisms that are Africa-specific

• Establishing bio-equivalence capabilities in conjunction with WHO-approved CRO
